1. Use and Care of inShare Means and Cabinets

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that it has inspected the Means and Cabinets and that they are in good condition and suitable for their intended use.

The Safety of the Customer and Others

Driving the Means involves risks. The Client agrees that, notwithstanding such Risks, it wishes to hire and use the inShare Means, and accepts sole responsibility for: Means and Related Equipment; and the safety of the Client and others.

Late returns will be charged

The Customer shall take proper and reasonable care of the Means during the Rental Period and return it in good condition to inShare within the hours specified in the Rental Period, unless otherwise agreed by inShare. Latecomers will be charged the daily rental rate until return, unless prior arrangements have been made. Always check when renting lockers that they are clear of items left by other customers and do not forget anything.

Competent for the Use of Means

The Customer warrants that all persons who will use the Means are competent to use the Means, will use the Means in the manner in which it was designed to be used, will follow all directions of inShare regarding the use and safety of the Means and will comply with all laws and obligations in connection with the use and control of the Means.
No modifications may be made to the Means.

The Customer shall not change or modify the Means

The Customer will not change or modify the Means or Equipment without the consent of inShare. If the Customer changes or modifies the Means or Equipment without the consent of inShare, such changes or modifications will be considered damages and charges will apply.

Responsible for any damage

The Customer is solely responsible for any damage to or loss of the Means or Equipment during the Rental Period. The Customer shall notify inShare immediately in the event of damage to or loss of the Means or Equipment and shall follow all reasonable instructions from inShare in relation to the damaged or lost Means or Equipment.

In the event of damage

In the event of damage to the Equipment and the Means (excluding reasonable wear and tear and any damage to inner tubes), however caused, the Customer shall be responsible for and shall pay to inShare the full cost of all repairs, including the cost of replacing any damaged parts and any labour to restore the Equipment to the Means to the condition it was in at the commencement of the Rental Period. For the avoidance of doubt, inShare shall have the sole right to reasonably determine: whether the Equipment or the Means has been damaged during the Rental Period; whether such damage is beyond reasonable wear and tear; the extent of such damage; and the total cost of any necessary repairs.

In the event of loss of the medium

In the event of loss of the Equipment or Means, however caused, the Customer shall be liable and shall pay to inShare the full replacement cost of such Equipment or Means.

How do I rent a vehicle and/or locker?

Hire can be made via Online Booking or on site directly.

How big are the cabinets?

The lockers are of different sizes.

Can I leave the vehicles around the city at the end of the hire period?

Hired vehicles must be returned to the rental centre before the end of the rental period, and may not be abandoned around the city.

In such cases, the customer shall be liable for any damage to the vehicle and shall be charged directly for abandonment of the rented vehicle.

How do I collect my luggage?

At the time of booking you will receive a 6-digit locker code by e-mail and text message.

Keep it and enter the locker code on the screen to reopen your locker and collect your luggage!

How long can a rental last?

Rental for vehicles such as bicycles and scooters is limited to a maximum of one day, while lockers can last up to a maximum of 15 days.

What happens if I arrive later than the final locker rental time?

In the event of a delay, when collecting your luggage, the system will ask you to pay an additional fee for the hours in excess of your booking. You can easily settle the difference with your credit card and proceed to collect your baggage.

If you have problems depositing or collecting your luggage, you can use our telephone, which is available in all luggage rooms.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay with Visa and Mastercard and Maestro credit cards.

Please note that when you use your credit card directly in baggage storage you may be asked for your credit card PIN, so keep it handy! If you buy online, you may be asked for an additional security code (Verified by Visa or Securcode by Mastercard).

Are my luggage safe?

The luggage is under 24-hour video surveillance. Certainly we cannot ensure that no one steals the goods or does any damage to the system, even knowing that they are being monitored by the cameras.

But if something happens, is there insurance?

As we told you, our luggage is 100% secure, but in the very unlikely event of theft or damage, each of your luggage is guaranteed for Euro 500 by the insurance company Generali. Safer than that!

When do you pay the rental?

For rental bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payment will be made via the secure online booking system.

Long-term bookings

For all on-demand bookings for organised holiday periods, the Customer agrees to pay an agreed down payment to inShare, at least 30 days prior to the rental request, and then pay the remaining payment on the day of the rental, by bank transfer or online system.
If the Client does not pay the total price determined 30 days prior to the rental date for the pre-booking, inShare reserves the right to cancel or change the booking and make the Means available to the Client.

Damage to the rental system out of control by inShare

If the service becomes unavailable for the period of hire due to circumstances beyond the control of inShare (such as theft, fire, earthquake or damage from previous hire of Means), inShare will use its best endeavours to offer the Customer a suitable alternative. If inShare is unable to offer a suitable alternative, the Client will receive a full refund.

Refunds for date changes or unforeseen events

There are no refunds for unforeseen changes or changes of dates, except by agreement with inShare
